Donate and help a child access clean water, proper sanitation and good hygiene

For children to grow up healthy and happy, they need access to clean water, proper sanitation, and good hygiene. A lack of access to safe water systems has caused diseases that kill over 1000 children under five every day and each day women and girls collectively miss out on over 200 million hours every day getting water. This disproportionately impacts the education of girls. Without access to safe water systems, they are unable to spend essential time learning, playing and connecting.

Access to clean water and proper sanitation are basic human rights and we are working hard to uphold these rights for every child through our water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) programmes.

Why make a monthly donation?

As a children’s charity, we work with families, communities and governments in over 190 countries to tackle the root causes, as well as the symptoms, of problems directly affecting children.

We are working with governments in over 100 countries to build long-lasting WASH systems to help children reclaim their lives. We’re working to ensure children can access safe water, sanitation and hygiene throughout childhood, in their homes, schools, health facilities and communities.

We empower children, families and communities with information about hand-washing, menstrual hygiene and waste disposal. By developing infrastructure and understanding, we’re working to progressively improve WASH services around the world, so that children and their families can thrive.

When you set up a regular donation, you become part of long-term work to keep the world’s most vulnerable children safe.

Your donation will help fund our global work for children, including our WASH programmes, treatment for malnutrition, temporary schools and clinics, and so much more.
