Donate to help protect children in the Middle East and worldwide

Recent military escalation across the Middle East — affecting at least 12 countries — has killed or injured over 2,100 children.

Across the region, 46 million children require assistance. Millions more are at immediate risk of harm, displacement and trauma.

Services children and families rely on, such as schools, hospitals, water and sanitation systems, have been repeatedly attacked, damaged, or destroyed.

Children — many already living with the long-term effects of previous emergencies — will bear the heaviest burden.

The violence needs to stop, and children must receive the support they need to rebuild.

Please donate today to help protect children in the Middle East and worldwide.

UNICEF’s response to the Middle East crisis

Our regional team for the Middle East and North Africa is bringing everyone together to coordinate our response. We’re helping our country teams provide access to water, sanitation, education, health care, nutrition and protection services for impacted children and families.

How UNICEF is supporting children and families across the Middle East

We have a long-standing presence in Iran and across the region, working with partners to keep children safe. As the situation worsens, we’re preparing to support families wherever the impact is felt. This includes:

  • Providing clean water, medical supplies and essential hygiene items to help families stay healthy as they move to safety.
  • Creating safe spaces for children where they can learn, play and receive emotional support.
  • Supporting families arriving in neighbouring countries with emergency essentials as their services come under increasing strain.

Just £10 a month can help us provide a week’s worth of life saving therapeutic food for a child — giving them a real chance of survival.

Your support helps us reach children across the Middle East and worldwide with the essentials they need during times of crisis.

How to donate to the Middle East crisis appeal

One of the best ways to donate is through a monthly direct debit.

A monthly donation enables us to provide continuous support to children when they need it most, through vital food, access to healthcare and a safe space. Children should not have to live in fear of hunger or conflict.

Your donation can help protect children in the Middle East and Worldwide. However you choose to donate, you will be helping to make a difference to the lives of children.

Donate to the appeal by phone
