to protect children
Children’s lives are under threat
The cuts to aid will mean millions of children won’t have critical healthcare, won’t have enough to eat, and will miss out on an education. Your support can help us reach those children. Donate now.
“The world’s poorest children are in crisis — decades of progress is being undone as a result of climate change, conflict and extreme poverty. Further reductions in the ODA budget will put children’s lives at risk at a time when they need our support the most.” — Dr Philip Goodwin, Chief Executive Officer of UNICEF UK.
Whether you decide to make a one-off donation or pledge a monthly gift, we promise that your charity donation will be used to fund vital programmes that keep children safe around the world.
The impact of your donation could help:
- Provide childhood vaccines to keep children healthy and safe from preventable diseases.
- Build a temporary school where children can learn and find sanctuary in emergencies.
- Provide a child experiencing malnutrition with the vital nutrients they need to recover.

9.3 Million
In 2023, UNICEF and our partners reached 9.3 million children with life-saving treatment for severe malnutrition.
190 countries
With your help, we work to protect children and their rights in over 190 countries.
£39
A donation of £39 could provide a family with an emergency water and hygiene kit.
Why donate monthly?
As a children’s charity, we work with families, communities and governments in over 190 countries to tackle the root causes and symptoms of problems directly affecting children.
We work to deliver long-term support that creates lasting change for children as well as addressing their immediate needs.
When you set up a regular donation you become part of that long-term work to keep the world’s most vulnerable children safe. For example, an £18 monthly donation could protect 100 children against tuberculosis – for life.
Even a small monthly donation of £7 could help provide life-saving rehydration salts to treat 23 children suffering from acute diarrhoea.

Why donate to UNICEF?
We have done more to influence laws, policies and practices to help protect children than any other charity. As an organisation we:
- Are the biggest provider of vaccines for children in the world.
- Work with governments, communities and parents to enable access to a quality education for every child.
- Provide life-saving therapeutic food for millions of children each year through our nutrition programmes.
Your charity donation will go to support our work around the world.
