OutRight 2024-2025
INTERNATIONAL AID
What is OutRight?
OutRight is a campaign by children and young people, for children and young people. It’s designed to be delivered in a variety of settings, from schools to youth groups. We provide you with the resources that you need to follow an exciting campaign journey, learning about children’s rights and how to take action.
OutRight & International Aid:
This year, OutRight will follow a journey through which children and young people develop their understanding of their rights, international aid and why it is an important part of being a global citizen.
This year, children and young people taking part in OutRight will develop their knowledge of:
- Relevant children’s rights and the UNCRC
- What international aid is and why it is important (using climate change and education as examples)
- How to use their voices on international issues that matter to them and their community, by contacting decision makers.
Who can take part?
Any school, youth club and organisation or home schooler in the UK can take part!
We provide two resource packs, one for children under 12, and a second for children over 12.
You can choose to download both packs and use the best activities for your class.
When does OutRight take place?
OutRight launches in August 2025. Groups can participate in most of the activities at any time during the year and we hope that this makes it even easier for children and young people to get involved.
Please note: by registering for the campaign, you will automatically receive the resources, either at the time of release or when you register.
You will receive communications from the UNICEF UK team throughout the year, with suggestions and support.
