Sarah Hodgkinson: Professional Advisor for the Northwest of England and the Channel Islands
I graduated with a Masters degree in French and German from the University of Manchester in 2004 and qualified as a primary school teacher in 2008. I have over 15 years’ experience of working as a class teacher in primary schools in the Manchester area, teaching classes from Reception to Y6. I have led RRSA in schools that I have worked in, most recently achieving Gold with my school in 2023. I am an MFL enthusiast and have also worked as a peripatetic French and Spanish teacher at several primary schools across the region.
I joined the team in August 2023 and have enjoyed getting to grips with a new job outside of the classroom whilst still working closely with children and school staff. I feel that my experience has given me a good understanding of the challenges schools face and an appreciation and understanding of the impact of RRSA.
