Achieving Silver

Taking your rights respecting practice to the next stage

Home > Our training day courses > Achieving Silver

As schools across the UK close, we will be scaling back our face-to-face training and assessments until further notice.

Explore ways of developing an ethos of mutual respect for rights through rights-based agreements, consider participation rights, and discover practical ways to meet the RRSA standards to be ready for your Silver: Rights Aware accreditation.

Achieving Silver courses builds on the work done in Achieving Bronze.  This course is designed for RRSA leaders from schools who have started their journey towards the second stage of the Rights Respecting Schools Award, Silver: Rights Aware, and are familiar with the RRSA. Your school will have ideally achieved the first stage of the Award, Bronze: Rights Committed.

Objectives of the day:

  1. Deepen your understanding of the ethos of a Rights Respecting School
  2. Review and develop your plans
  3. Develop your knowledge and understanding of global citizenship and sustainable development
  4. Prepare for the next steps towards Silver
