Our five-day training courses cover Breastfeeding and Relationship Building, Train the Trainer, Audit and Achieving Sustainability.
The five-day courses provide healthcare staff and other interested parties with a foundation for supporting optimal care for new mothers, their babies and families, and offer the opportunity to develop a training package. There will be a strong focus on the importance of relationship building, involving parents as true partners in care, and supporting breastmilk use and the transition to breastfeeding.
The five-day courses are delivered over an initial three days, followed by two days and with a gap of two weeks in between.
In addition to the five taught days, participants will receive:
- Access to the Breastfeeding and Relationship Building pre-course e-learning package
- The Train the Trainer package of resources
- The Manager Training pack
- The Breastfeeding and Relationship Building and Train the Trainer handbooks
