Baby Friendly Initiative Conferences
Our conferences bring health professionals together to network and hear innovative and challenging presentations on infant feeding and relationship building.
The Unicef UK Baby Friendly Initiative’s Annual Conference for health professionals and others involved in the care of mothers and babies is Europe’s largest conference on infant feeding.
Organised and promoted by the Baby Friendly Initiative, the conference attracts more than 950 health professionals. Every year it addresses topical research and practice issues of crucial importance to health professionals and commissioners of health care, and features internationally recognised speakers.
A couple of talks from previous conferences are available here, to give you a flavour of what to expect:
- Laurel Wilson: Epigenetics and breastfeeding – The potential long term impact of breastmilk. 2014 Annual Conference
- Dr Helen Crawley: Working within the International Code of Marketing of Breast-milk Substitutes. 2015 Annual Conference
