Unicef UK’s Baby Friendly Initiative conferences bring health professionals together to network and hear a mixture of innovative, entertaining and challenging presentations on a wide range of issues associated with supporting successful breastfeeding.

Our recent neonatal conference celebrated the vital work of neonatal units in improving standards of care for the UK’s most vulnerable babies and their families.

The Unicef UK Baby Friendly Initiative’s Annual conference for health professionals and others involved in the care of mothers and babies is Europe’s largest conference on infant feeding.

Organised and promoted by the Baby Friendly Initiative, the conference attracts more than 800 health professionals. Every year it addresses topical research and practice issues of crucial importance to health professionals and commissioners of health care, and features internationally recognised speakers.
