Primary school assembly plans

This popular package of  free assembly focuses on various articles of the Convention and links them to events and  days of recognition.

Enable the whole school to explore children’s rights together with our pack of Primary Assemblies. With links to special days such as World Health Day or World Refugee Day, these assemblies are a great way to foster the rights respecting ethos in your school.

Each assembly focuses on child participation and is light on technical resources for their delivery. The topics featured are linked to real situations and UNICEF’s global work, so while subjects are presented in an age-accessible manner, some content might be worrying for children. So before using these assemblies, we recommend you review and consider carefully the age and sensitivity of the children who will be participating.
