Having achieved Gold, this training is all about maintaining your Rights Respecting journey and keeping your practice strong.

This course is suitable for RRSA coordinators in schools that have achieved the Gold: Rights Respecting. It aims to support you in maintaining a strong focus on rights and sustaining excellent rights-based practice. The session will facilitate the sharing of good practice among participants and also explain how to prepare for a reaccreditation visit and what to expect from the process.

Objectives are:

  1. To support continued engagement with RRSA Gold.
  2. To explore strategies to sustain a child rights based approach.
  3. To share good practice at Gold and build partnerships.
  4. To be confident in the reaccreditation process.

If your Gold accreditation was several years ago or more recent but practice has lapsed please speak with your regional Professional Adviser to discuss other training options.

Course duration: 2 hours (1:30 – 3:30pm)

Cost: This training is included in your membership fee and is free for state primary and secondary schools in Scotland. If your school has not paid your membership fee, training costs are £210 per participant. Please note that if you are unable to attend the course and request a refund you may only receive a partial refund due to a change in Eventbrite’s charges.
