Home > Accreditation > Achieving Sustainability: Universities > Achieving sustainability – universities: Revalidation and annual report

Universities accredited as Gold Baby Friendly must revalidate after two years and each subsequent three years in order to effectively monitor the maintenance and progress of the standards. This revalidation process will include an update from the team on progress, successes and challenges over the first year, a review of progress with any recommendations made in last year’s Achieving Sustainability assessment report, annual audit results, and confirmation of continuing adherence to the International Code of Marketing of Breastmilk Substitutes (the Code).

Revalidation submissions

Please use this form to tell us the story of your progress with Achieving Sustainability standards within the last year. This will include submission from your portfolio of relevant documents and details and documentation of where changes have occurred. Universities are requested to complete the form and submit along with portfolio evidence a week before the revalidation date scheduled.

Annual reports

Universities accredited as Gold Baby Friendly must submit an annual report in order that effective maintenance and progress of standards may be monitored. Universities are requested to complete the form and submit electronically to the Baby Friendly office.
