Practical skills review forms

These forms help assess practical skills related to the Baby Friendly standards, including kangaroo care/skin-to-skin contact for preterm babies.

Practical Skills Reviews (PSRs) help to ensure that training has been effective and staff are confident with the skills. These forms can be used to quantify and monitor those developments, focusing on:

  • Infant feeding (including: breastfeeding, hand expression and responsive bottle feeding)
  • Kangaroo care/skin-to-skin contact (preterm baby)
