Our partnership with Orange, and now with Everything Everywhere as their disaster and emergency relief partner, has raised more than £2 million for our emergency appeals.
Our Text to Donate campaigns, coordinated by Everything Everywhere, enable customers to make donations to some of our emergency appeals simply by replying to a message sent out by the network. The donation is added to customer phone bills or taken off their airtime.
Text to Donate allows us to colleact donations immediately, which means we can send out aid and provisions to affected areas as quickly as possible to support children in urgent need.
In 2010, Everything Everywhere raised more than £1 million through text donations and corporate support for humanitarian emergencies in both Haiti and Pakistan.
