Why choose the Great South Run?

The Great South Run boasts a fast and flat 10-mile run route that takes in the landmarks of the Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, Portsmouth Cathedral, Spinnaker Tower and the HMS Victory, and finishes on the seafront with beautiful views of the Isle of Wight.

Why run it for Unicef?

Your fundraising through the Great South Run can make a huge difference for children. With your support, Unicef can protect millions of vulnerable children around the world.

Did you know that £200 in sponsorship could provide a month’s supply of life-saving peanut paste to bring 8 malnourished children back to health?

Got your own place?

If you’ve already got your own place in the Great South Run, we’d love for you to fundraise for us. There is no minimum fundraising commitment; we would only ask you to raise what you can.
