Frequently asked questions

What are parents saying about Paddington's Postcards?

“It’s a real treat. They sit down at the kitchen table and rip it open straight away. Then read it out loud. It’s really nice.” – Thomas

“My 8yo son is home educated and we are using the packs as our geography topic currently. The current pack we are using is brilliant 😊 I would highly recommend.” – Charmaine

“Aged 6 and loving Paddington. Sent the frog postcard to his friend in his own handwriting who he hasn’t been able to see during lockdown.” – Berta

How do I sign up for someone else’s child as a gift?

We can only collect children’s personal data with the consent of the parent or legal guardian.

If you would like to sign up on behalf of a child for whom you are not the parent or legal guardian, we recommend addressing the postcards to the recipient’s family (e.g. The Smith Family) when adding delivery details on the next page.

Please also tick that you are not providing children’s data on the next page.

Why Paddington and Unicef?

Paddington is a champion for children in support of Unicef. Paddington’s kindness, tolerance and perseverance in the face of adversity or marmalade-related mishaps make him the perfect champion for children.

With help from you and Paddington, Unicef can continue to build a world where every child is happy, healthy and safe.

Unicef receives 100% of your subscription and this will help our work to build a world where every child is happy, healthy and safe.  Together, we can help millions of children get an education – for example by providing textbooks and classroom kits, or by setting up child-friendly spaces where children can keep learning, even during a conflict or natural disaster.
