Paddington's Postcards for children
Paddington's Postcards for children

Please note that Paddington is currently taking a break whilst he works on his next big adventure.

Read on to learn more about Paddington’s Postcards.

Discover the gift of adventure and exploration.

Simply  sign up for an £8 monthly donation  and Paddington himself will send a personalised postcard (and more!) every month to your adventurer. They will get to discover new countries and learn how other children live all around the world. It’s the perfect gift for curious children aged 6-10.

UNICEF receives 100% of your subscription and this will help our work to build a world where every child is happy, healthy and safe.

What does your gift include?

Marmalade-packed with fun and educational activities, your little explorer will learn about different countries with Paddington each month. Sograb your hat and duffle coat and join Paddington on his adventures around the world!

"The current pack we are using is brilliant
😊 I highly recommend."

Charmaine, parent

"It makes me feel excited!"
Bertie, 7

"It’s a great idea teaching them about other countries and cultures, plus you’re helping underprivileged children."
Robert, grandparent

You can change or cancel at any time.

Your questions answered

When will my gift arrive?

An extra special welcome pack will arrive within 3 weeks.

If you’re buying it as a gift for someone else’s child…

Once you’ve completed your purchase, we’ll email the parent/guardian for consent to personalise your gift with the child’s name. Rest assured, even if we don’t hear back from them in time, your gift will be delivered on-time. It just won’t be personalised with the child’s name.

Why Paddington and UNICEF?

Paddington is a champion for children, in support of UNICEF. Paddington’s kindness, tolerance and perseverance in the face of adversity or marmalade-related mishaps make him the perfect champion for children.

With help from you and Paddington, UNICEF can continue to build a world where every child is happy, healthy and safe.

UNICEF receives 100% of your subscription and this will help our work to build a world where every child is happy, healthy and safe.

What can my monthly donation do for children?

Your monthly donation will support UNICEF’s work for children in 190+ countries. We make sure more of the world’s children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation.

With your support, we’ll work with families, communities and governments to tackle the root causes of poverty affecting children, as well as address their immediate needs. You’ll become part of our long-term work to keep the world’s most vulnerable children safe.

In one year, your £8 monthly donation could:

  • provide 145 vaccine doses to protect 72 children against measles, or
  • supply mosquito nets to protect 48 families from malaria, or
  • give exercise books to 290 children so they get the tools they need to learn

Thank you for supporting UNICEF’s work around the world.

I haven't received my welcome pack, what should I do?

Your welcome pack should be with you within 3 weeks of signing up to Paddington’s Postcards. If you have not received your pack, please contact the Supporter Care Team by phone on 0300 330 5580 or by email at [email protected] so that we may assist you further.

If you have signed up to Paddington’s Postcards on behalf of a school, we advise getting your packs sent to a home address to ensure your pack reaches you, as we’ve been experiencing some issues with packs not arriving at school addresses.

How do I sign up for someone else's child as a gift?

We can only collect children’s personal data with the consent of the parent or legal guardian.

If you would like to sign up on behalf of a child for whom you are not the parent or legal guardian, we recommend addressing the postcards to the recipient’s family (e.g. The Smith Family) when adding delivery details on the next page.

Please also tick that you are not providing children’s data on the next page.

Can I pay for Paddington's Postcards with a one-off payment?
