The UK Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF UK) has built a strong presence in Scotland over many years through several principal strands of work. In 2015, a dedicated office was established in Edinburgh to support UNICEF UK to deliver on our mandate to uphold ‘the Convention of the Rights of the Child’, to establish sustainable funding streams and to advocate for children in Scotland. UNICEF UK in Scotland has a well-established Advisory Board in Scotland to support these aims and we are now seeking an additional board member.

We are specifically looking for a new member of the Board with experience of identifying potential funding opportunities to support the delivery of the Scotland’s team income target. Strong communication, influencing and interpersonal skills are also required.

Please bear in mind that when you write your response to our application questions, you demonstrate your knowledge, skills, and understanding of the role requirements and how well UNICEF UK’s values and mission aligns with yours. Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) such as ChatGPT to generate your answers, will automatically exclude your application from our recruitment process.
