Paddington’s
Postcards
OPEN UP THEIR WORLD

What is Paddington’s Postcards?

Paddington’s Postcards bring families and children together to learn about the world through fun activities. Give a gift that helps create a better world for every child.

Simply sign up online and Paddington himself will send a personalised postcard (and more!) to your adventurer for just £8 per month. It’s the perfect gift for curious children aged 6-10.

Across the 12-month subscription, they’ll get to discover new countries and learn how other children live all around the world. All while making a difference, as 100% of your £8 donation goes towards our vital work to keep children safe.

At the end of your subscription, your ongoing monthly donations will continue to support our work to protect children. You can cancel your donation at any time.

What does your gift include?

The extra special welcome pack will include a travel journal and world map for children to log Paddington’s travels. Each personalised gift is also marmalade-packed with:

  • fun and educational activities,
  • stickers,
  • postcards from Paddington,
  • children’s stories,
  • fact cards,
  • monthly emails to the child’s parent or guardian

Your little explorer will learn about different countries with Paddington each month and we’ll also send parents a monthly email to help bring each pack to life.

So, grab your hat and duffle coat and join Paddington on his adventures around the world!

"It’s a great idea teaching children about other countries and cultures, plus you’re helping underprivileged children."
Robert, grandparent

How does it work?

1. Sign up

Choose the lucky explorer to receive personalised gift packs from Paddington each month – and set up your monthly £8 donation or recurring annual donation for 12 monthly packs.

2. Welcome pack

A welcome pack will be sent in the first week of the following month.
If you give us consent to use your child's name, we'll even address the pack to them. Little explorers love to receive their own post from Paddington!

3. Adventure begins

Your year-long adventure with Paddington begins! Your monthly packs and parent's email will start arriving and children can track Paddington’s adventure in their travel log as they learn about countries across the world.

More about your subscription

When you sign up to Paddington’s Postcards, you’ll set up an £8 monthly donation or annual payment to UNICEF and we’ll deliver your monthly gift for up to 12 months.  After that, your monthly or annual donation will continue — we hope you’ll be able to keep supporting our work to protect every child. You can change or cancel at any time.

Your questions answered

An extra special welcome pack will be sent in the first week of the following month.

If you’re buying it as a gift for someone else’s child:

Once you’ve completed your purchase, we’ll email the parent/guardian for consent to personalise your gift with the child’s name. Rest assured, even if we don’t hear back from them in time, your gift will be delivered on-time. It just won’t be personalised with the child’s name.

Paddington is a champion for children, in support of UNICEF. Paddington’s kindness, tolerance and perseverance in the face of adversity or marmalade-related mishaps make him the perfect champion for children.

With help from you and Paddington, we can continue to build a world where every child is happy, healthy and safe.

We receive 100% of your subscription and this will help our work to build a world where every child is happy, healthy and safe.

Your monthly donation will support UNICEF’s work for children in 190+ countries. We make sure more of the world’s children are vaccinated, educated and protected than any other organisation.

With your support, we’ll work with families, communities and governments to tackle the root causes of poverty affecting children, as well as address their immediate needs. You’ll become part of our long-term work to keep the world’s most vulnerable children safe.

In one year, your £8 monthly donation could:

  • supply life saving rehydration salts to help over 300 children, or
  • provide over 700 vaccines to protect children against Diptheria, Tetanus and Whooping cough, or
  • give exercise books to 340 children so they get the tools they need to learn

Thank you for supporting our work around the world.

Your welcome pack should be sent to you in the first week of the following month. We send Paddington’s Postcards in the same delivery batch each month as this is the most cost effective way to do it.

It does mean that if you start your subscription at the beginning of the month you will be waiting a few weeks before you receive your welcome pack.

If you do not receive it, please contact our Supporter Care Team by email [email protected] or phone 0300 330 5580.
