We’ve loved seeing all the inventive ways our supporters have taken on challenges, shared their skills, and have kept connected – all whilst raising vital funds for Unicef’s work for children!

If you are looking for ways to raise money for children during the lockdown, or your event has been cancelled or postponed due to the coronavirus outbreak, here are some fun ways to fundraise – from a distance!

If your challenge has been postponed or cancelled, or just want your daily exercise to mean more, here’s how to take on a #ChallengeForChildren and raise money for children in danger.

  2. Set up your JustGiving page here. Share your link with family, friends and colleagues via email, group chats, and social media and ask them to sponsor you.
  3. Take on your challenge! Share it on social media using #ChallengeForChildren and tag us so we can celebrate with you!

Donate your commute for a week

Donate the money you would otherwise spend on your commute to work to Unicef to help children who are in critical need. You can do this for a week, a month – or even until lockdown restrictions are lifted. Why not encourage your friends, family or colleagues to do the same, and set up a team on JustGiving and raise

If you have kids at home and are looking for ways to keep them entertained and connected to their friends, why not host a virtual playgroup? Choose an activity and ask for donations of £2 – £5 to take part.

If your birthday plans have been scuppered during lockdown, celebrate your birthday and raise vital funds for children across the world. Choose an idea from the list below (or create your own!) and ask people to donate the cost of a drink or a present to join you on your birthday.
