2024-25
Change Making
With OutRight, empower children and young people to embark on a journey to become the best change makers they can be – following an exciting learning journey that teaches them about the UNCRC, democracy and global citizenship, whilst upskilling them as campaigners!
Why Change Making?
This year’s campaign takes place in a significant year of change! Throughout 2024, over 60 countries have taken part in processes to elect leaders that will represent their views and make important decisions that affect everyone, including children and young people. In the UK, decision makers can ensure that they prioritize and protect children’s rights, and what better way to remind them than through children using their voices.
We can’t wait to see the change that you make in your settings, so let’s get started!
Resources:
You’ll find all the resources you need to complete OutRight below. You can work through these whenever they work in your setting, but this year we have provided a suggested order to ensure that children and young people get the most from the learning journey.
You’ll also find guidance documents to refer to throughout the year and the dates of our three support workshops.
Feedback:
You can provide your feedback on OutRight 2024/2025 here.
You can find the guidance on speaking with children and young people here.
Remember:
✎ By completing the survey you will be in with a chance to win a campaigns workshop, in person, for your group! Last year, we visited a school in Scotland and worked with 75 children and young people
✎ Once you have completed the survey, you will also be sent a certificate of participation for your setting. This year these will be sent as a PDF via email.
